A week after the Newtown massacre, NRA held a press conference at 10:45am December 21, 2012 inside the Willard Hotel. They had been silent about the massacre all week. Without taking questions, Wayne LaPierre called for armed guards at every school across the nation.
Outside the Willard Hotel, people gathered to protest the NRA and attempted to deliver 200,000 signatures collected by CREDO to the NRA. Although they were not allowed to enter the Willard Hotel in Washington, D.C., they spoke their minds to Story of America filmmakers, Annabel Park and Eric Byler.
